What our LCNW customers say

“LCNW clearly cares about us as their customer.”

Parts, Weldments, and More

Since 1992, LCNW has been committed to leading in precision parts manufacturing. We do this by integrating advanced technology — from automated material handling to high-speed cutting systems — to streamline production and elevate quality.

Built for the Jobsite. Trusted by Builders.

In construction, delays cost money, and parts that don’t fit cost even more. Whether it’s a single embed or a full run of framing assemblies, LCNW delivers parts that arrive right, install fast, and hold up over time. Our team works closely with contractors, engineers, and fabricators to keep schedules tight and quality consistent. We offer:

  • Material sourcing from vetted U.S. mills and distributors
  • Laser cutting and forming for brackets, embeds, and structural plates
  • Precision CNC machining for mounting points and anchor systems
  • Structural welding and fabrication per AWS and AISC standards
  • Labeling, kitting, and delivery tailored to your install sequence

American Fabrication for Construction

Every component is made in the U.S. using proven fabrication workflows. From fast-tracked RFIs to phased deliveries, we’re built to support the pace and complexity of modern construction projects.

  • Structural steel suppliers and GC sub-trades
  • Architectural metal contractors and facade installers
  • Short-run parts for coordination or site fixes
  • Production runs for large-scale framing or panel systems

At LCNW, we help construction teams avoid rework, stay on schedule, and meet spec. If you’re tired of shops that ghost you mid-project or ship out-of-tolerance parts—give us a call.

We’ll build what you need. And we’ll get it there on time.

Industries we serve

Same shop, other industries

Since 1992, LCNW has run more than 129,000 jobs for over 1,000 customers, from espresso machines to ship interiors. The same 100,000 sq ft shop in Auburn, WA, the same automated lasers and robotic weld cells, and the same ISO 9001 quality system carry a one-off prototype and a national production rollout alike. Whatever your industry, you get a partner that has already solved problems like yours for someone else.

FAQs

Are your structural components fabricated in the U.S.?
Yes — all fabrication is done right here on our campus. If your contract includes domestic material requirements, we’re happy to review them to ensure compliance. Mill Test Reports (MTRs) can be provided upon request.
Can I speak to someone before I submit plans or RFIs?
Absolutely, and we encourage it. Whether you’re working from finalized drawings or need input on value-engineering a detail, our team is available to review early. That upfront coordination often helps prevent costly rework later on.
What do you need from me to quote structural steel?
A set of shop drawings with a material schedule is ideal. The more complete the information — including member sizes, connection details, and any project specs — the faster we can deliver an accurate, competitive quote.
Do you offer connection design or engineering review?
We don’t perform structural engineering or delegated design, but we do flag any drawing issues that may affect fabrication. Our team focuses on building exactly to your supplied shop drawing spec. When details can be simplified for fabrication or sequencing, we’ll call that out early so your project stays on track.
Do you provide field measurements or site verification?
We don’t offer field measuring or on-site verification services. Our focus is on fabricating accurately to the shop drawings you provide. That allows us to prioritize lead times and deliver your products on schedule.
Do you handle galvanizing or other protective finishes?
We do. We regularly fabricate steel for galvanized, coated, and painted installations, including duplex systems and fire-rated finishes. Let us know your coating requirements at the quote stage so we can coordinate with our finishing partners and avoid hold-ups.
Can you fabricate structural assemblies or pre-welded frames?
Yes. We often fabricate complete assemblies—frames, embeds, welded box sections, stair stringers, and more—that are easier to install on-site. Pre-welding saves labor in the field and keeps installs moving faster, especially when crane time is tight.
What kind of jobs do you typically support?
We fabricate for a wide range of projects — commercial, multi-family, institutional, and industrial. Whether it’s a field skid for groundwork or a multi-ton steel package for a new build, we bring the same level of precision and clear communication to every job.
What should I include in shop drawings for structural?
The more detail you provide upfront, the smoother the process — and the better the outcome. To ensure accuracy and avoid delays, your shop drawing should include:
– Part name or drawing number
– Revision level
– Material type
– Dimensions and tolerances
– Hole placements and bend details
– Secondary processes (e.g., tapping, machining, countersinking)
– Weld symbols and locations
– Hardware callouts
– Bill of Materials (BOM) for assemblies
– Finish requirements (e.g., powder coating, plating)
– Notes or flags for any critical features or inspection points
What certifications do you carry for structural fabrication?
We’re ISO 9001 certified, which reflects our commitment to consistent quality management across all processes. Our welding procedures and operator qualifications follow AWS standards and align with AISC guidelines — ensuring reliable weld integrity for structural, safety-critical, and code-compliant builds. It’s one of the reasons we’re an approved fabricator for city of Los Angeles.
